THE FULL REVIEW

BELONGS IN THE EVALUATION STACK, NOT IN PRODUCTION.

Refabric is a generative AI platform for fashion brands focused on visual design output and collection planning. Design Canvas, launched March 2026, is a drag-and-drop workspace where designers combine sketches, fabrics, prompts, and references to generate designs in real time. The company is part of the LVMH La Maison des Startups acceleration program, with offices in Paris and Istanbul, and pricing is freemium.

The LVMH connection gives it more credibility than it would otherwise have at this stage. It is not a primary design tool yet. It belongs in the evaluation stack for brands doing proper due diligence.

WHERE IT EARNS ITS PLACE

Due diligence evaluations, collection planning experiments, and sketch-and-fabric exploration on the Design Canvas.

WHERE WE WOULD NOT USE IT

Primary design workflows, production deadlines, or final presentation imagery.

WHERE IT FITS

01

BRIEF

Set the collection direction and gather sketches, fabrics, and references.

02

EXPLORE

Combine them on Refabric's Design Canvas and generate designs in real time.

03

SELECT

Flag outputs strong enough to compare against your current process.

04

PRODUCE

Develop the keepers in your established design and development workflow.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR'S NOTE

NOT A PRIMARY DESIGN TOOL YET.

The LVMH connection gives this more credibility than it would otherwise have at this stage. I would not make it a primary design tool yet, but it belongs in the evaluation stack alongside Raspberry and Fermat for brands doing proper due diligence.

BOTTOM LINE

WORTH EVALUATING NOW.
NOT READY TO LEAD DESIGN.
