THE FULL REVIEW
IT READS THE STREET, NOT THE RUNWAY.
Heuritech was founded in 2013 by two machine learning PhDs and has been part of Luxurynsight since 2024. The platform runs computer vision across millions of social images a day from Instagram, Xiaohongshu and TikTok, then quantifies how prints, colors, fabrics and shapes are being adopted across sixteen regions, four age segments and three audience panels. It claims to project that adoption up to twenty-four months ahead, and sells as a platform, an API, or standalone reports.
The pitch is that you stop arguing about whether a trend is real and look at how many people are already wearing it. That is a genuinely different input from a forecasting service telling you what should happen next season, and for the right category it is the better one.
WHERE IT EARNS ITS PLACE
Validating a color or silhouette call before a buy, sizing demand for something already moving, and settling the recurring argument between design and merchandising with evidence instead of conviction. Strongest in categories people photograph and post: streetwear, sneakers, outerwear, logo-driven product.
WHERE WE WOULD NOT USE IT
Anything that does not perform on social. Basics, intimates, technical workwear and most B2B product barely register in the data, and a platform built on social imagery will read a thin signal there as confidently as a thick one. It is also a poor fit for teams who need an answer this week; this is a planning instrument, not a creative tool.
THE HONEST CAVEAT
The accuracy claim moves depending on where you read it, ninety-two percent on the homepage and more than ninety-one in the FAQ, and neither version says what counts as a correct call. Nobody outside the company has tested it. Judge it in a pilot against seasons you already know the sell-through for, not on the number in the deck.
WHERE IT FITS
QUESTION
Name the decision the data has to settle, usually a color, print or silhouette call.
READ
Pull adoption curves for that attribute in the regions and age segments you actually sell to.
CROSS-CHECK
Hold the social signal against your own sell-through and a demand-side source before acting.
COMMIT
Take the call into the buy, and log it so the next cycle can score the platform honestly.
CREATIVE DIRECTOR'S NOTE
EVIDENCE BEATS CONVICTION, UNTIL IT COSTS MORE THAN THE MISTAKE.
I like what this tool measures. Most trend services tell you what should be true; Heuritech counts what already is, and that is a harder thing to argue with in a room. The question is never whether the data is interesting. It is whether a wrong color call costs your business more than a few thousand euros a month. For a brand buying deep into a season, easily. For everyone else, the honest answer is not yet.
FAQ
What are the alternatives to Heuritech?
WGSN is the closest enterprise alternative for seasonal, color and macro direction. Trendalytics and EDITED cover search demand and retail performance rather than social imagery. Stylus handles consumer and cultural shifts. If the blocker is budget, start with Google Trends, Pinterest Trends and TikTok Creative Center, then add one paid platform once you know which signal you actually act on. The full trend forecasting comparison covers how these split up.
What does Heuritech cost?
Heuritech does not publish prices. Its own FAQ states that plans start at a few thousand euros per month and that pricing depends on which markets and modules you access. That puts it in enterprise territory, alongside WGSN, and out of reach for most independent brands and freelance creatives.
How accurate is Heuritech?
Heuritech markets 92 percent accuracy 24 months ahead on its homepage, while its FAQ cites more than 91 percent. Neither figure is independently verified and neither defines what counts as a correct call. Treat the number as a sales claim, and judge the platform on whether its reads match what you have already seen sell.
Who uses Heuritech?
Heuritech names Adidas, New Balance, Dior, Prada and Moncler among its clients, along with retailers such as Chalhoub and, more recently, manufacturers. Typical users inside those businesses are designers, merchandisers, buyers and data teams rather than individual creatives.
Is Heuritech worth it for a small fashion brand?
No. At a few thousand euros per month, the subscription costs more than most small brands spend on an entire season of development. The signal Heuritech reads, what people are actually wearing and posting, is partly visible for free through Pinterest Trends and TikTok Creative Center. Buy it when a wrong color call costs more than the platform does.
